Tell us about your company’s goal and vision?
As a company, we are extremely passionate about doing things a different way. The SEO industry is a very saturated market with agencies of all sizes with all sorts of offerings. The one thing that is typically pretty true throughout is that most companies want to hold on to the secret sauce as opposed to pulling back the veil and letting their clients in on what they are doing. Our approach is one of extreme collaboration and transparency. Along with consulting on SEO, we take the time to educate our clients on the what, why, and how of SEO so that we remove the questions as to what is going on. Along with that, we give our clients freedom. Most agencies in the space require that a 3, 6, or 12-month contract be signed before starting. We work essentially on a month-to-month agreement.
We are an SEO Consulting Firm that specializes in SEO. I learned early on that to be the best at something you have to focus on that one thing rather than trying to spread our resources too thin and try to do something that is not in our wheelhouse. For that reason, we stick to what we know best and that is SEO. Many other agencies will offer a gamut of services to try to capture as much of their marketing budget as possible, which I understand, but we felt that would take away from what our true passion is. We will gladly consult on other channels or refer to someone in our network but we are not going to take on services that we are not 100% amazing at.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization". Simply put, it means the process of improving your site and increasing visibility when users search for products and services related to your business on Google, Bing, and other search engines. The more visible your page is in search results, the more likely it is to attract attention and attract existing and potential customers to your business.
How does it Work?
Search engines such as Google and Bing use bots to crawl pages on the web, navigate from one site to another, collect information about those pages, and index them. Think of an index as a huge library that helps librarians open books (or web pages) and find exactly what they're looking for.
The algorithm then analyzes the index page, taking into account hundreds of ranking factors or signals to determine the order in which the pages appear in the search results for a particular query. In our library analogy, librarians can read all the books in the library and tell them exactly which books will answer your question.
What was the driving force behind the establishment of your company? What idea propelled you towards the institution of this company?
The driving force behind the formation of our company was past experiences working within the agency world that left a sour taste in our team's mouths and after much consideration, we realized that we could do it at a lower price point, and offer better service without all the red tape. Our goal is to bring a unique level of service to clients who may have had bad experiences in the past. There is no shortage of complaints regarding people working with others in our industry.
Founder’s Life Journey
My journey was rather unconventional when it comes to landing in the position that I am today. I possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Marketing from Baker College in Auburn Hills, MI. Although on paper that seems like a perfect fit for the place that I am in today, the journey was quite strange getting there. I spent most of my adult career in numerous sales roles from selling home furnishings to education until I met my wife and business partner, whom I give all the credit to. She was working in the SEO space and was directly responsible for the idea to branch out on our own. We had a short stint working with some other partners but that was not right for us. We decided to start CadenceSEO with the aforementioned premise of being the best SEO consulting firm out there.
How Cadence SEO makes difference?
1. Communication is Paramount to Success : We feel that an open line of communication is what makes for a successful campaign and relationship. If we don’t understand what you are doing and you don’t know what we are doing we are not on the same page. All of our client relationships start out with weekly check-in calls until we feel that they are no longer necessary but then move to a minimum bi-weekly.
2. You are never stuck : We have heard horror stories of clients who did not get along with their agency but were not able to get out of the contract so they continued to pay while getting nothing in return. We never want that to be the case when working with us. Our relationships function essentially on a month-to-month basis, with a 2 week out at any time for any reason. Although most of our clients stay with us long term we want you to know that you have the ability to leave if it is not working out.
3. Access to SME’s : Working with CadenceSEO means that you will be working with subject matter experts. Your main point of contact should be able to answer most questions upfront but you will also have access to the whole team to get your questions answered expeditiously.
4. SEO is not Pandora’s Box : We heavily feel that SEO is not full of secrets or magic pixie dust. We will help make sense of what we are doing while educating your team along the journey. The more your team knows and understands the easier our job because and the more successful you will be.

Describe your company’s financial sponsorship? Where do the funds come from?
When it comes to our financial contribution the company has been completely bootstrapped with the exception of some small bank loans to cover some payment gaps. We have not secured any additional funding nor do we plan to.
What are the future prospects of Cadence SEO?
CadenceSEO’s growth prospects look bright. We are an up-and-coming team that has recently grown to 7 strong full-time employees around the country. We are positioning ourselves to be more than double our annual review in 2022
Tell us briefly about your team and their contribution to your success.
Our team is everything. As stated before we have a team of 7 rockstar employees from across the country that allows us to do what we do. Without the team, there is no chance that we would be able to manage the client load that we have while continuing to grow.
