Ken Kreuter created the company in 1969. It has now been automating and controlling building systems for nearly 50 years, assisting facilities in achieving higher levels of energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality. It operates with the goal of providing cutting-edge, user-friendly automation and technology solutions. “We will be known for our customer-centricity, ingenuity, and hardworking, enthusiastic staff.
The first area of expertise for KMC Control was pneumatic HVAC. Over time, the company evolved into an industry visionary, identifying gaps in the market and creating and implementing innovative technologies to solve them.
Redefining Automation Building
KMC, as a firm that produces automation, has a lot to give the environment and the rest of the world. For example, KMC Commander, the company’s coveted IoT and Automation platform, began as a vision to bring together building systems from many networks, protocols, and locations in a single, web-based mobile platform. KMC teamed together with Intel and Dell to promote IoT and show that teamwork is the only way to succeed when it comes to this new connected notion.
KMC Controls is devoted to its customers and clients, and it is always assessing their needs and developing new products or updating existing ones. It does not believe, for example, that KMC Commander will ever be a complete solution. This implies that it will continue to evolve and add new features.
Newberry explains, “Another example of our ongoing innovation and consumer awareness is the KMD Translator, a device that translates our pre-BACnet proprietary protocol, KMDigital, into BACnet.” This was established in response to customer demand, and it now allows users to update their KMDigital devices, as well as join the IoT with the addition of KMC Commander. This allows clients to gain benefits without having to replace their entire system. KMC is currently developing IoT microservices for the energy and educational sectors.
KMC anticipates significant development in a variety of channels during the next few years. Its most recent and well-known channel has been the OT channel of Systems Integrators and OEM clients, with a specialisation on HVAC systems. “We are ecstatic about what the future holds for KMC, and we can’t wait to share all of this success with our clients and partners,” says the CEO. KMC Controls’ Internet of Things (IoT) solution for building automation, KMC Commander, continues this attitude of innovation and market awareness under his leadership.
