What do they do?
Tidewater specializes in the purchase, selling, and management of multi-family apartment buildings and has had a lot of success doing so. Tidewater has been in operation since the 1970s and specializes in multi-family housing. Tidewater provides completely integrated real estate services that include, but are not limited to, multi-family property management, maintenance, acquisition, and assessments, as well as anything else related to them.
Commercial Real Estate vs. Residential Real Estate
There is no staging or sentiment involved in commercial real estate transactions, unlike residential real estate sales. Making an emotional connection with your buyer or seller isn’t as important. More focus is given on the raw figures than anything else.
Contribution of Tidewater to Society
Apart from selling properties, the company is currently directing the development of a 350-unit luxury rental complex in New Jersey, where roughly 2000 apartments are being handled. Over the years, the company’s activities have contributed to the community’s general growth along with the improvement of schools and revitalization of neighborhoods.
Their values
The founders believe that three values act as the foundation of the very core of the company Persistency, Precision and Loyalty
Rocco J. Sarni, Vice President
Rocco began his real estate profession at a young age, taking his first sales to call for a rental flat when he was 11 years old. His mother has worked as a property manager for more than 30 years, while his uncles have experience in contracting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Working for all of his uncles since he was a child, and having a mother who has a career dedicated to all parts of real estate, Rocco saw the path to success laid out in front of him and knows the company from the ground up. Most of his relatives are plumbers, contractors, electricians, and carpenters, and he grew up in a large Italian family.
Rocco’s jobs include coordinating acquisitions and negotiating with property owners, developers, investors, and private clients daily. He is expected to work independently as the vice president of Tidewater, with complete authority to act on behalf of the brokerage. This level of responsibility is not only astounding, but it also serves as a springboard towards his ultimate goal of owning and managing his properties.
Rocco aims to keep an active presence in the community outside of the office. Construendo il Nostro Futuro PAC, a political action committee dedicated to acknowledging the enormous impact that Italian heritage has had on America and its contribution to the country, has him on the board and he is the chairman of the board. The PAC was established to preserve and promote Italian American culture, traditions, and values.
