Founded in 2007, the Women In Trucking Association is a non-profit organization with the mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the industry.

Our Mission

For over a decade, we’ve been focused on this clear mission to encourage employment, address obstacles and celebrate success. It’s supported by a passionate leadership team, highly engaged members, and committed sponsors and partners.

We continue to build a strong community among our members (primarily business professionals and professional drivers) who believe in and support our mission.

Encourage Employment

Gender diversity broadens horizons, fosters better idea production, problem-solving, and innovation, and boosts corporate performance and income.

To assist you in achieving this, have access to essential market intelligence, material, networking, collaboration, and best practises.

Address Obstacles

Flexible work arrangements, fair compensation, and inclusive corporate cultures that encourage and support women’s professional development and advancement are all essential for women’s advancement.

Find tools, best practises, new ideas, and material that will assist you in establishing such corporate cultures.

Celebrate Success

Many transportation firms are experiencing the benefits of a diverse staff.

Through WIT’s numerous awards and recognition programmes, see what other talented individuals and innovative companies are doing to capitalise on the benefits of gender diversity.

The Women In Trucking Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps ambitious trucking students, drivers, and professionals improve their skills through classroom and vocational training.

We’re a group of companies, foundations, and individuals who care about the trucking industry’s professional development and want to see it thrive. To ensure that women in the trucking business have the support they need to expand their skills and themselves, we generate cash for scholarships, analyse applications, and award funds to schools.

As a result, the trucking sector benefits from a varied and well-trained workforce with prospects for advancement.

We will be for you with

We, at the Women In Trucking Association, are committed to bringing you The Salute to Women Behind the Wheel at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in March 24-26, 2022. All sponsorships will be kept on the books applied to the event. We also will continue to keep your logos on the website throughout the year, giving you extra branding and visibility.

These are definitely unchartered waters and changing times and one thing we are all having to do – and getting pretty good at – is being fluid and learning to pivot when necessary. We appreciate your continued support of Women In Trucking as our member, sponsor, and/or partner.
